These are three logos I have made that also include their grayscale and black and white versions.
Evil Operations,
This logo was created by using four rectangles two circles and the divide below tool. This
There are several things which make a good company or product logo.
A mini strategy game that you can play with multiple friends over the internet.
It is a Macintosh with a Mini-gun and tank treads. It is self explanatory that it is related to combat.
The design of this is strong, however, I believe with more time I could make this slightly more photo-realistic.
Portal
A highly graphical file transfer program. My favorite icon.
It is showing a portal pull in a folder filled with files like a black hole.
One of it’s strengths are the morphing done to make the folder look like its getting the spaghetti effect from a black hole. I cannot see anything that can be improved on upon this.
Notebook Operations
An advanced organizer with the ability to send files with one click, look up words, and a graphic user interface.
The icon is to show organization and a clean design.
I believe that it’s strengths are its interesting design based off of shapes, However it would have been better if I could have made it more photo-realistic.
Probably the most challenging part of this project was finding a good idea to work on. Once that was completed the rest of the project was easy.
To produce or edit a file with software to be highly detailed in graphic design. This may range from creating icons to adding digital images to documents.
The movie Pan’s Labyrinth was supposedly some sort of children’s story according to the commercials. I soon realized after the first 30 seconds that this was anything but a child friendly movie. The 60 second commercials aired were about the only time someone wasn’t being shot, stabbed, Joker worthy cheek cut, leg sawn off, or the occasional nose beaten inside out. The movie was like first reading an essay, switching over to watch Saw, switching back to the essay except this time picking a random page, and then watching Hostel. The movie was pointless, it had parts which could have been taken out easily such as, a general sowing his cheek back together. The movie takes unneeded steps to have gore shoved into it. The odd thing is, I think it actually was supposed to be some sort of children’s movie. The fact that the plot is dryer than any other movie I have ever seen or think could be seen. The movie was probably meant for an “Artistic look” which is also could be stated as “We made it this boring for a reason”. Any movie that has to sacrifice plot in the name of hidden meanings should be immediately placed in the same pit as the E.T. Cartridges.
The acceptable use poster is to tell people the basic rules of the computer lab.
It was created in Word 2005. It took about an hour and a half to complete. It was a fairly simple project, however, I feel it could have been a lot better if I had time to photoshop the separate images in this project. The style of this poster is in a computer/ HAL 9000 theme. I believe this poster turned out to be a success.
